The bizarre Language of Modern Marketing

Sunday morning a relaxed morning and a term was enough to grab my attention.

‘Humaning’ and as a Digital Marketer, I quickly hopped here to share new marking terms with my community that how we twist the words and language to achieve a goal of persuading others.

Humaning: It is a unique word, coined by ‘Mondelez International’ for consumer- centric approach to marketing, where purpose is not doing the marketing for consumer instead creating connections with human.

B4H: Now after the terms B2B and B2C the new term is B4H, Brand for human. Its humanity for growth, making real human associates for purposes.

Snackable Content: Sounds yummy, but actually small videos served as snacks for Phone or other devices. Info-graphics or any visually wired content is the best example for this.

Story Telling: Where companies are conveying their product appeal in a punchy manner so that customer may immerse in the narrative style of product.

Thumb Stopping: Providing /designing a thumb stopping material for mobile device. A strategy designed to capture our attention and we, stop scrolling.

Hypertelling: Impressive way to appeal your product through, ‘Meme’ which speaks
or present itself in a hyper way. Remember the Meme “Rasode mein Kaun tha.”

Branding Acronyms: Generally a three letter word to grab attention and detail the product. OTT is the best example of it.
