Jallianwala Bagh Massacre

Nepali New Year
It is also called Losar, which is celebrated on the first day of the lunisolar Tibetan calendar. People wear traditional clothes, play drums and cultural music, and decorative banners are seen over the streets and markets. You can watch on the TV or attend the official New Year’s greeting of the Nepali President.

Celebrated in Kerala, India from the reign of Sthanu Ravi since 844 AD, Vishu is believed to mark the day when Shree Krishna killed the demon Narakasura. Hence, Shree Krishna idols are kept in the Vishu Kani Temple. Hindus consider Vishnu as the God of Time and this festival, Vishnu and his incarnation Krishna are worshipped and day is celebrated as a new year.
